SOLD 04/20/21! I've never been one of those "It's got to be pre-Gibson to be any good" Tobias snobs. There were enough duds made before Gibson took over and I've never felt a Gibson-era Tobias bass that I didn't love. This one is no exception with a beautiful  bookmatched flame maple top over walnut body wings. Of course it's a 5-piece neck-thru design with flame maple and purpleheart laminated and that famous offset neck profile. It has a pao ferro fretboard with 24 frets and features black anodized hardware. Two Bartolini soapbar pickups and a 9-volt preamp with volume, pan, bass, mid & treble controls along with a 30way mid-contour switch. This bass is light at 8 1/2 lbs and has a variety of tones that may make this the only bass you ever need. Comes in a nice hardshell case.
